Key information

ICH is an international non-profit Association under Swiss law dedicated to promoting public health through worldwide harmonisation to ensure that safe, effective, and high-quality medicines are developed and registered in the most resource-efficient manner. Harmonisation is achieved via a process of scientific consensus through the development of ICH Technical Guidelines that are implemented by the regulatory authorities. Since its inception in 1990, ICH has gradually evolved to respond to the increasingly global face of drug development and comprises currently 21 Members and 37 Observers from around the globe, and over 30 technical Working Groups (WGs).

The Project Coordinator will contribute to the coordination of ICH operations and the support of the activities of ICH’s governing bodies (ICH Assembly and Management Committees) and ICH Working Groups (WGs), and assist with the implementation of their decisions.

The main responsibilities of the Project Coordinator are in:

  • Providing coordinative support for governing bodies and WGs, both for general operations and for specific activities/projects
  • Supporting the smooth running of the biannual face-to-face meetings and virtual meetings, with preparation of agendas and reports, as well as collection and circulation of background document packages
  • Ensuring compliance of activities with rules of procedures (RoPs) and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Providing editorial reviews of documents for consistency with decisions and document style guides
  • Tracking progress and status of activities through appropriate triaging, prioritisation and smooth coordination with stakeholders
  • Drafting protocols and templates for optimisation & clarification of internal processes
  • Keeping records and documents up-to-date and aligned on the database, public website, private platform, MS SharePoint and shared drive
  • Monitoring website to ensure it remains up-to-date, including publishing approved documents, articles, News, Press Releases etc., and supporting periodic website updates

The desired profile of the Project Coordinator is:

Qualifications & Experience:

  • University degree
  • 2-5 years’ relevant work experience in international projects administration and coordination with project management experience
  • Fluency in English (both written and oral), proficiency in French an asset
  • Computer literate in MS-Office as well as project management, communication and reporting IT tools
  • Right to work in Switzerland (e.g., Swiss national or valid Swiss work permit)
  • Looking to start immediately

  • Well organised with strong attention to detail to complete multiple projects/activities on time and in time
  • Proven strong oral and written communication skills across a multi-cultural environment
  • Strong analytical skills to make good and timely decisions to move forward
  • Good sense of priorities to maneuver efficiently on multiple parallel projects
