Our client, a leader company in the Tourism Industry is looking for an energetic, multilingual and ambitious Reception Manager in a permanent assignment

Description

Your responsibilities will include:

Organisation

  • Plans work and communicates it to staff according to the schedule and planned events.
  • Organises the distribution of daily tasks of the staff according to the activities.
  • Interacts with all units to facilitate exchange and find solutions/information.

Management

  • Supervises the implementation of instructions and the respect of procedures by the employees. Sets objectives and carries out regular evaluations.
  • Coordinates activities in the public areas
  • Ensures the dispatch of information to customers and staff.
  • Ensures the application of security guidelines in all public areas.

Reception

  • Manages and supervises the smooth running of the Welcome Desk, its sales points, including online.
  • Supports the team of receptionists and intervenes in case of difficulties/exceptional situations.
  • Controls the closing of the cash desks and transfers the receipts.
  • Handles technical incidents and follows up on visitor/customer complaints.

Administration

  • Carries out the orders necessary for the smooth running of the service (stock management).
  • Maintains the unit's various procedures.
  • Participates in the setting up and monitoring of promotional offers.
  • Prepares regular information sessions for the staff.

Profile

In order to be considered for the role, you must have:

  • At least 3-5 years of solid working experience as a Manager
  • Experience as Cabin Crew Member, Retail or Hospitality
  • Very good knowledge of sales and hospitality in an international environment
  • Good knowledge of office tools (Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook) and cash register system
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to function effectively in challenging situations
  • Ability to take initiative and being very well organised
  • Business minded and interest in developing relationship with customers

  • Multilingual in English, French and German (C1 minimum)
