Position summary

As a Global Ingredient Specialist, you will manage the NHSc Ingredient Specification portfolio, ensuring compliance with business rules. You will also apply internal and external standards and lead ingredient consolidation efforts while improving Specification Management Tools & Processes and sharing best practices.

A day in the life of a Global Ingredient Specialist

  • Manage ingredient specifications throughout their lifecycle and coordinate the specification definition with Ingredient & Quality experts
  • Contribute to harmonization initiatives to reduce complexity and cost within the ingredient portfolio.
  • Improve and document specification management processes to enhance data quality and process efficiency.
  • Ensure application of Nestlé and external standards, regulations, and specific business requirements.
  • Further improve our ingredient specification management tools and processes to keep them lean and efficient
  • Establish best in class specification for ingredient category and share best practices.
  • Support and provide guidance on ingredient-related matters, organize training, and promote best practices in Raw Material Specifications.
  • Serve as the contact point for ingredient processes within NHSc.

What will make you successful

  • 3-5 years of operational experience in a factory setting, preferably in AG, production, or QA roles.
  • Experience in data base management.
  • Good Food chemistry & sciences background.
  • Proficiency in project management.
