Department Mission -Software Engineering Platforms

The Software Engineering Platforms department is dedicated to the customer's journey in Swissquote. We define, analyze and make alive the future ofclient facing solutions offered by Swissquote. We also maintain those applications to always ensure the best client experience in his journey.

By collaborating closely with product strategy department we also are the bridge between company’s growth strategy and the corresponding solutions put in place, being then the core actors giving concrete life to the vision defined.

By working hand in hand with the internal departments and the business that they represent we ensure toalways move towards clients and stakeholders needs.

Team Mission

TheInstitutional and Wealthsection designs, develops and maintains passive investment platforms on Web and mobile for retail clients (InvestEasy, 3a easy, and more coming) as well as the whole set of solutions for institutional clients (APIs, SQPro platform, bridges with FX external platforms…)

You will be part of Wealth Software Engineering team, working together with other back end / full stack engineers and an offshore team of back end and front-end engineers. You will also work closely with our conception team containing Product Owners and Product Designer.
The team focuses on client-facing passive investment solutions.

What does Front-Endmeanto us?
Here a Front-End is a developer mostly oriented towards Front-End but who may still have skills and interest in Back-End.

What will you do here?

• Participate actively in thedevelopment of the productsunder your team supervision by creating efficient and reliable code
• Work closely with financial experts togain first-hand experienceand discuss possible solutions and alternatives to embed their requests
• Keep yourself up-to-date on thecutting-edge technologiesand contribute actively to thetechnical choicesof the team
• Coordinate and organize theproducts evolutionsand their deliveries
• Providesupport on the applicationsto our internal and external users
• Use moderntest frameworksto ensure the quality of the applications

Your skills set:

• Diploma inComputer Science
• At least 2 yearof experience in development of production-ready applications
• Experience inFrontenddevelopment (TypeScript or JavaScript) and good knowledge of theReactframework
• Knowledge ofRESTfulservices.
• Knowledge ofGit version controlsystem
• Understanding (or will to learn) Java8+ and other the open source frameworksMaven,SpringandHibernate
• Understanding (or will to learn) Linux,Docker,Jenkins,TomcatandDatabases(Oracle, PostgreSQL), Maven
• Fluent in English, French is an asset
