R&D Engineer Tribology & Materials (80%-100%)

You will be responsible for development projects as well as technical support tasks in the field of tribology, with a particular focus on issues related to lubrication processes and lubrication instructions for quartz movements. You will also be required to perform characterisation analyses using optical profilometry and tribometry.

You will prospect, propose solutions, and successfully carry out their evaluation and introduction, in close collaboration with our various laboratories and production departments.

Furthermore, you will provide technical expertise in your field of activity to both the various internal departments and the companies of the Swatch Group.

You hold an engineering degree at MASTER HES level or another qualification deemed equivalent.

As an additional asset, you have several years of experience in the field of tribology.

Dynamic and creative, you stand out for your open-mindedness and sense of responsibility. Comfortable in human contact, you seek teamwork.

Native French or German speaker, you have a good knowledge of the other language and are motivated to communicate in both languages. Good knowledge of English would be an advantage.
