Planning Specialist 100% (m/f/d)

What is my role?

• Responsibility for comprehensive work preparation and production planning of all semi-finished and finished products

• Execution of order control, feedback on production orders, and management of inventory levels

• Creation and maintenance of rolling sales planning on a monthly and yearly basis

• Coordinative support in the implementation of new product lines

• Monitoring and control of supply chain relevant processes, including production metrics, machine downtimes, and bill of materials management

• Preparation, evaluation, and continuation of reports, statistics, and analyses

• Handling various administrative tasks, for example during new production launches, adjustments of packaging materials, and feedback on production orders

• Function as a central interface and contact person for production line managers and other specialist departments

• Active participation in and leadership of internal departmental and cross-departmental projects and tasks

What do I need to be successful?

• Completed commercial training or basic training in the food sector with at least 3 years of professional experience in production planning, alternatively a degree from a university of applied sciences or higher technical school with a focus on Food Science and/or Business Administration

• Experience in Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) is desirable

• Further training with a focus on planning, rationalisation, or information technology is an advantage

• Sound knowledge of ERP systems as well as excellent MS Office skills, especially in Excel

• Strong analytical and interconnected thinking, problem-solving ability, as well as entrepreneurial thinking and acting

• Openness to new ideas and impulses as well as willingness to innovate

• Team-oriented, communicative, and reliable personality with a high degree of personal responsibility
