Specialist in Claims Management 60% (m/f/d)

What is my role?

Our client is looking for you as a specialist in claims management for the retrospective review of healthcare billing. You ensure that all submitted services comply with legal requirements and are billed correctly.

Your tasks:

• You retrospectively check outpatient and inpatient bills for accuracy

• You independently review invoices from basic and supplementary insurance and identify optimisation opportunities

• In case of discrepancies, you initiate objections and pursue recoveries until final resolution

• You continuously optimise processes and contribute to quality improvement

• You independently prepare legally compliant letters and orders

What do I need to be successful?

• Experience in claims processing at a health insurance company or in the healthcare sector

• Federal diploma as a health and/or social insurance specialist or the motivation to obtain it alongside your job

• Solid knowledge of tariffs and medical contexts

• Numerical affinity and confident Excel skills

• German as a mother tongue – additional national languages are an advantage
