Job description

This is a full-time position including teaching at bachelor, master and postgraduate levels in pharmaceutical sciences, as well as supervising master’s theses and doctoral dissertations. The candidate is expected to develop leading international research and to obtain external funding for their research. The candidate must be able to teach basic pharmaceutics and pharmaceutical technology. The candidate will also be involved in supervising bachelor students in practical work (as co-responsible). They will also be required to undertake management and organisational tasks at the level of the Section of Pharmaceutical Sciences and the Faculty of Science.

Required qualifications and skills

• PhD in pharmaceutical sciences or an equivalent qualification.

• Proven track record of obtaining funding from national and/or international research agencies and industry.

• Publications in leading international journals.

• The candidate must be fluent in English and willing to learn French.

The candidate must be able to teach basic biopharmacy and pharmaceutical technology. The candidate will also be involved in supervising Bachelor students in practical work (as co-lead of practical courses). He/she will also be expected to take on management and organisational functions in the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences and at the Faculty level.

REQUIREMENTS • Doctorate in pharmaceutical sciences or equivalent qualification. • Track record of obtaining extramural funding from national and/or international funding agencies and through industrial collaborations. • Track record of publications in leading international journals. • Must be fluent in English and willing to learn French.
