What is my role?
You take responsibility for operational purchasing and actively shape processes – hands-on, solution-oriented and close to the business. Together with your team, you ensure smooth material supply, strong supplier partnerships and smart processes. You combine oversight with drive and make purchasing noticeably effective.
Professional and disciplinary leadership of the purchasing team with close proximity to daily business
Ensuring timely supply of direct and indirect materials
Controlling, optimising and pragmatically further developing purchasing processes and systems
Building and maintaining reliable supplier relationships as well as confident handling of bottlenecks and escalations
Close, solution-oriented collaboration with production, logistics, engineering and controlling
Creating key figures and reports as well as ensuring quality, compliance with guidelines and efficiency
What do I need to be successful?
Completed commercial or technical training with further education in purchasing/supply chain and several years of experience in operational purchasing (ideally industry)
Experience in leading a team and enjoyment in developing your employees both professionally and personally
High initiative, strong implementation skills and enthusiasm for actively tackling tasks
Structured, solution-oriented and independent working style with assertiveness as well as strong communication and team skills
Very good ERP knowledge (e.g. SAP) as well as German as a native language and good English
