JOB PURPOSE:
The position of Lingerie Attendant requires the ability to speak French and/or English. The hotel has a reputation and clientele of high quality. That is why we only employ staff ready to perform consistently high-quality work and to invest themselves to always satisfy the client. An empathetic and good-will relationship with clients and colleagues, accompanied by excellent organizational and language skills, are key elements for a Lingerie Attendant.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Must always have exemplary conduct. Must respect all Conduct Standards and Hotel Regulations. Must respect Hygiene and Safety rules as well as Standards and Procedures within their department.
2. Always be punctual, diligent, and notify the Service in time in case of problems or delays.
3. Responsible for the Cisa pass given on the day of entry into the hotel.
4. Ability to understand and use the laundry pick-up and delivery sheet.
5. Know how to fill out the laundry form.
6. Ability to detect tears, holes, and stains on the client’s clothes.
7. Know how to inform the client in case of holes, tears, or fabric discoloration.
8. Know how to label and mark laundry according to client requests.
9. Keep the workplace clean and tidy.
10. Know how to pass instructions between shifts and read log book messages with signature for approval.
11. Ensure the quality of cleaning and ironing.
12. Control the cleaning method.
13. Know how to update the in-house report (every two hours).
14. Know how to manage relocations.
15. Be versatile.
16. Answer phone calls respecting standards.
17. Pay attention to detail when packaging.
18. Ability to follow and respect payroll-related procedures.
19. Ability to manage the table linen inventory.
20. Ability to use, operate, and maintain the iron.
21. Ability to use the press for bed linen, towels, pillowcases, and bath towels.
22. Ability to report any equipment deficiency or malfunction to a superior or manager.
23. Ability to perform other tasks or projects assigned by management.
24. Ability to sort and fold bath towels, hang bathrobes on hangers, and fold mats.
25. Ability to shake sheets, table linen, and pillowcases.
26. Ability to keep public areas clean.
27. Ability to know the different sizes and classifications of linen.
28. Ability to use the machine for folding bath towels.
29. Apply and master quality standards related to your function.
