We are looking for a Head of Main Department Production Technology to complement our team and decisively shape the technological advancement of our production and development organisation. In this key role, you create the conditions for a high-performance, digital, and future-proof manufacturing and make an important contribution to the long-term success of Endress+Hauser Flowtec.

What is the role about?
Would you like to actively shape the technological future of an internationally leading production site? In this central leadership role, you take responsibility for the future technology main department within production and work closely with Research & Development, Quality Management, and global specialist departments. The role is based within Endress+Hauser Flowtec and combines strategic foresight with operational implementation strength.
What tasks will you undertake?
You will:
- lead the main department Production Technology in the areas of engineering, maintenance, digitalisation, PMO, and plant development and continuously develop it within the framework of transformation.
- establish and further develop local methods, standards, and processes for TPM, industrialisation, digitalisation, production systems, Service Level 2+, PMO, and CAPEX.
- drive the industrialisation of new products, processes, and plants and sustainably support the scaling of production.
- ensure compliance with framework conditions for CAPEX planning, project portfolios, strategic projects, and long-term plant development.
- further develop advanced digital manufacturing systems such as SAP ME, data management solutions, and networked production platforms, as well as ensure reliable service and maintenance support for production.
What do we expect from you?
You:
- hold a master’s degree in engineering sciences, industrial engineering, manufacturing technology, or a comparable field; business management training is an advantage.
- have several years of leadership experience in technical, production-related, maintenance-related, or plant development-oriented organisations.
- possess sound knowledge in product and process industrialisation, New Product Introduction (NPI), asset management, and industrial scale-up of manufacturing capacities.
- have extensive experience with digital manufacturing, automation, and production systems such as MES, SAP ME, or networked manufacturing platforms.
- have demonstrable responsibility in the areas of CAPEX, plant development, project portfolio management, TPM/maintenance, and advanced manufacturing technologies.
- bring experience in requirements development and confidently and purposefully create and review user requirements and functional specifications (requirements and specifications documents).
- analyse complex contexts in a structured manner, set priorities confidently, and communicate convincingly in German and English within an international matrix environment.
