Ecology Lab Team Leader 100% (m/f/d)

To support and further develop one of our four laboratory teams, we are looking for an authentic, competent, and resilient personality as Ecology Lab Team Leader 100% (m/f/d) starting January 1, 2026, or by arrangement.

Your area of responsibility

• Leading and developing a team of 7 employees (both professionally and personally)
• Responsibility for operational processes and resource planning
• Professional contact person for internal and external inquiries
• Ensuring compliance and budget adherence
• Participation in projects to further develop processes, systems, and organizational structures
• Representation of the department in internal and external committees

What you bring

• Completed studies in chemistry or food chemistry (FH/University), a doctorate (Dr.) is a great advantage
• Several years of relevant industry experience in a regulated laboratory/analytical environment
• Solid experience in professional and/or personnel leadership, strong motivation for team leadership and development, coaching, and change processes
• Proven experience in chemical analytics, especially liquid and gas chromatography (LC-MS/MS, GC-MS, GC-MS/MS) and/or elemental analysis (ICP-MS)
• Networked thinking, assertiveness, decision-making ability, and high commitment
• Very good German and English skills as well as a strong affinity for digitalization topics
