The Urban Development department manages the spatial and traffic development of Baden.

Your tasks
- You develop concepts and foundations for the spatial and traffic development of the city.
- You lead and manage ongoing urban development projects. These include, in particular, the introduction of a bike-sharing system, the supervision of the Trafowiese test phase, as well as the planning and implementation of shared space zones. In doing so, you bring together different stakeholders, design participation processes and ensure successful implementation.
- You coordinate the implementation of the city strategy, anchor it in the daily work of the administration and periodically prepare reports on progress.
- You ensure the needs-based procurement, evaluation and target group-appropriate preparation of urban development-relevant data.
- You draft statements in response to enquiries from the public and politics.
Your profile
- Completed university degree in spatial planning, geography, transport planning, architecture/landscape architecture, urban management, urban sociology or a comparable field
- Experience in leading interdisciplinary projects in the field of urban, spatial or transport planning
- Curious, proactive and networked-thinking personality with enthusiasm for complex issues, innovative solutions and interdisciplinary collaboration.
- Experience in dealing with diverse stakeholders as well as a strong drive to advance projects from idea to successful implementation.
- Ability to communicate information clearly and appropriately for the target group, conduct conversations confidently and present convincingly.
- Independent, structured and quality-conscious working style
- Interest in political processes as well as the competence to write reports, applications and press releases appropriately and with style
