Senior Network Engineer

How you create added value

• Conceptualisation, design, configuration, installation and commissioning of complex Cisco Enterprise Networking solutions
• Focus on Cisco Software Defined solutions, in particular:
  - Cisco SDA (Software Defined Access) including Catalyst Center
  - Cisco SD-WAN
• Network segmentation & zero trust approaches
• Technical management of customer projects (on-premises as well as hybrid)
• Troubleshooting at expert level (3rd level)
• Documentation, knowledge transfer and mentoring of junior engineers
• Support of presales activities through technical expertise and offer preparation

What makes you the ideal candidate

• Several years of professional experience (senior level) in enterprise networking and you master the Cisco portfolio for complex Cisco Enterprise Networking solutions
• Ideally a Cisco certification such as CCNP / CCIE and you bring experience with classic network technologies (routing, switching, multicast, wireless)
• Interest in automation and infrastructure-as-code desirable
• Analytical thinking, strong solution orientation and a high quality awareness
• Experience in customer projects at a system integrator or enterprise IT
• Entrepreneurial thinking and acting
• Enjoyment in dealing with complex, technical solutions
• Excellent German skills (spoken and written) and subject-specific English skills
• An impeccable reputation and preferably a category B driving licence
