Context
The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the 5 Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, the CHUV plays a leading role in medical care, medical research and education.

The Heart-Vessels Department (DCV) brings together the angiological, cardiological, cardiac surgery and vascular surgery services of the CHUV. All actors work together to offer personalised care to patients suffering from heart and vessel diseases. The DCV is also a centre of excellence in training and research.
Our Clinical Oncology Department brings together cancer clinic and research in a spirit of innovation. It includes the medical oncology, radio-oncology, haematology services with the CHUV bone marrow transplantation activity and the experimental therapies centre. It also integrates the Lausanne branch of the Ludwig Institute for Cancer Research (LICR) for cancer research, particularly in the field of immunotherapy.
