Sexual Health Specialist

The Inselspital Bern combines university-level top medicine, research, and teaching under one roof and is one of the largest medical institutions in Switzerland with around 11,000 employees. The Centre for Sexual Health offers counselling on contraception, sexuality, and unwanted pregnancies, support for those affected by sexual violence, as well as gynaecological examinations.

What to expect

• counselling and support for unwanted pregnancies within the legal time limits and after the 12th week of pregnancy,
• counselling on contraception and sexuality,
• developing and conducting sexual education group programmes and further training events,
• furthermore, you will participate in internal practical and research projects.

What you bring

• You have a tertiary-level qualification in psychology, social work, or medicine, or have obtained the specialist title "Sexual Health Specialist in Education and Counselling SGCH" or an equivalent additional qualification.
• An additional qualification in sexual education as well as knowledge in social work and counselling are advantageous.
• We expect strong teamwork and cooperation skills, independence and initiative, as well as flexibility and resilience.
• Respectful behaviour and an interest in working with a diverse clientele are important to us.
• Good oral skills in French or other foreign languages are advantageous, and IT user skills complete your profile.
