Your apprenticeship at UNITY is:

Diverse: During your apprenticeship, you will gain insights into various IT teams, from first level support to infrastructure and software development. Discover the topics and areas that interest you most.
Trustworthy: We trust you and help you take on appropriate responsibility, for example in operational daily business activities.
Impactful: You will effect important changes that improve the working life of all UNITIES and help you develop personally. Your ideas are gladly heard and supported in their implementation.
Well supported: Your IT expert colleagues* will stand by your side and support you as you need from your first day of apprenticeship until your final exam.

What you bring with you

Passion for technology: You are passionate about IT and technology, and new developments spark your curiosity along with a strong affinity for computers/software.
Willingness to learn: You see challenges as opportunities and are ready to learn continuously. As a sign of this, your report card shines with good grades in mathematics and/or computer science.
Team spirit: You value teamwork and like to contribute your ideas through your open personality.
Communication skills: You can communicate complex technical concepts clearly and have good German and English skills.
You have (or will soon have) successfully obtained your secondary school leaving certificate – higher qualifications are a plus.

Not mandatory, but always welcome:

You have already developed some programmes yourself.
Driving licence class B
You have an open personality that you like to integrate into the team.
If you puzzle over a task independently, it doesn’t unsettle you.

What you can look forward to soon

Apprenticeship remuneration (gross/month): 1st year €1,050 · 2nd year €1,150 · 3rd year €1,250. Plus €600 gross annually variable upon full target achievement. You will discuss your goals with your apprenticeship supervisor at the start of each year. Figures gross, as of July 2026.
An apprentice group that deserves the name: 12 apprentices and dual students from several cohorts. This is not a given in consulting — so there is always someone to learn from.
Biannual development talks with your supervisor — structured, with written results, not ad hoc.
Working with modern technology stacks: Modern cloud platforms, the latest technologies in client security and many more.
Mentoring programme: A fixed contact person from the apprentice group from day 1, independent of your apprenticeship supervisor.
Professional self-realisation: Actively work on projects and take on tasks independently that match your strengths.
Regular apprentice events e.g. apprentice sailing trip, sports events or the joint Libori visit.
UNITYacademy & trade fair visits: Learn additional content beyond apprenticeship topics in our internal academy or at trade fairs such as IT SA.
