Your Tasks

• Ensuring the smooth operation of a technologically advanced machine park through maintenance, repair, and servicing of manual, semi- and fully automated systems in the areas of electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical engineering
• Increasing system availability as well as improving efficiency and effectiveness through preventive maintenance and continuous optimisation measures
• Central contact person in escalation management (second level support) for production at the Herisau site
• Active participation in process improvements and technical projects with opportunities for professional development
• Involvement in the training of automation technician apprentices as a practical trainer
• Sub-project management in the manufacture of new systems in collaboration with apprentices

Your Profile

• Completed training as an automation technician, electromechanical technician, or electrical installer, ideally with further training as an industrial electrician according to Art. 13 or 15
• Several years of experience in electrical maintenance of systems in an industrial environment
• Sound knowledge in the application and programming of PLC and PC controls
• Proven experience in smaller automation and optimisation projects as a sub-project manager (mandatory)
• Confident German language skills, English skills are an advantage
• Innovative spirit and willingness to actively contribute to process improvements
• Flexibility and willingness for on-call duty
