Senior Controller and Accountant (m/f/d)

Role:
In this role, you take responsibility for the monthly preparation of group reporting including meaningful presentations, develop cash flow forecasts, and analyse and visualise key financial and performance indicators for sound business management. You are responsible for close collaboration with accounting, coordinate provisions and accruals to ensure correct monthly and annual financial statements according to IFRS, and actively drive the optimisation of controlling processes, reporting standards, and IT tools. Additionally, you develop and maintain management reports and financial dashboards, participate in budgeting and forecasting, and prepare decision templates and profitability calculations for various projects. With your completed studies in finance or controlling, several years of controlling experience – ideally in an international environment – as well as in-depth knowledge of accounting, budgeting, cash flow planning, and modern ERP and reporting systems, you convince as an analytical, proactive, and assertive personality. You are characterised by very good German and English skills, high integrity, and a strong sense of responsibility, and you bring the competence to clearly prepare complex financial matters and act as a reliable sparring partner for management.
Responsibilities:
- As head of finance and controlling, you steer the overall financial planning and take responsibility for budgets and forecasts.
- You lead and develop controlling to ensure transparency over costs, revenues, and profitability.
- In this role, you analyse financial figures, derive recommendations for action, and support management in strategic decisions.
- You are responsible for preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements as well as reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
- As head of finance and controlling, you optimise financial processes, implement policies, and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
- You lead your team professionally and personally, promote collaboration, and further develop competencies in finance and controlling.
