The Finance Department is responsible for calculating and disbursing contribution payments to school communities, special and music schools, as well as their professional support in financial and administrative matters. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a committed individual who, with expertise and a sense of responsibility, contributes to the targeted, transparent, and legally compliant use of financial resources in the area of special schools.
We are looking for a
Your tasks
- Calculation of state contributions to special schools, hospital schools, and other institutions
- Financial supervision and consulting of special schools
- Conducting tariff negotiations and preparing service agreements as well as triggering the corresponding payments
- Maintaining the database
- Preparation and evaluation of statistical data as well as creation of reports, projections, and planning bases for budgeting
- Writing statements, appeals, and decisions
- Participation in cantonal and inter-cantonal working groups as well as close cooperation with internal and external partner institutions
Your profile
- Completed commercial basic training with solid knowledge in finance and accounting, preferably supplemented by business management further education
- Several years of professional experience in finance/accounting; advantage in the public sector
- Structured, precise, and independent working style
- Very good IT user skills, especially in Excel
- Willingness to familiarize yourself with complex legal foundations
- Team-oriented, solution- and service-oriented personality with negotiation skills
- Enjoy working with diverse stakeholders
- A meaningful, responsible role at the interface of education, social affairs, and finance
