Taster Prosecutor Position 2027 - 100%The Zurich Public Prosecutor's Office is responsible for prosecuting crimes committed by adults in the canton of Zurich. It employs around 500 staff across nine offices as well as the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.
The taster prosecutor position offers, during 8 weeks in summer 2027, an initial insight into the diverse activities of the Zurich Public Prosecutor's Office.
What to expect
As a taster prosecutor, you will accompany public prosecutors in their daily work and get to know the various facets of their activities. You will gain practical insight into criminal prosecution and experience how the legal knowledge acquired during your studies is applied in professional life.
What you bring
You are enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in law and wish to get to know the work of a public prosecutor up close.
What we offer
The taster prosecutor position lasts 8 weeks, from 12 July 2027 to 3 September 2027, with a 100% employment rate.
During these weeks, you will receive a comprehensive and unique practical insight into the work of the Zurich Public Prosecutor's Office and get to know a possible future professional field first-hand.
