About the job
Who says you have to choose between versatile radiology, your career goals, and a high quality of life? In the Zurich Oberland, you will find broad radiology with room for your own specialisations, a collegial team, and a lake right on your doorstep – Zurich is also just a stone's throw away!
Your future employer is an established acute care hospital in the Zurich Oberland that ensures comprehensive medical care for the regional population. The radiology department performs around 47,000 examinations annually and covers a wide diagnostic spectrum with CT, MRI, ultrasound, mammography, conventional X-ray, and fluoroscopy.
You will work in a committed team with short communication paths and close interdisciplinary exchange. In addition to the broad radiological activity, the department offers you the opportunity to contribute your own professional interests and develop them further in a targeted manner.
The location is also convincing: the combination of the high quality of life in the Zurich Oberland with proximity to the city of Zurich. A lake on your doorstep, diverse leisure opportunities, and attractive residential areas make the region particularly interesting for doctors who want to balance work and private life well.
Your responsibilities:
- You independently take on radiological diagnostics with a versatile range of examinations, especially in CT, MRI, ultrasound, and conventional X-ray
- You contribute your professional interests and have the opportunity to specialise further, for example in musculoskeletal radiology
- In regular exchange with clinical departments, you support diagnostic and therapeutic decisions and participate in interdisciplinary meetings
- You accompany assistant doctors in their professional development and pass on your knowledge in everyday clinical practice
- You participate in the radiological emergency service and contribute to the reliable care of patients
Your skills:
- You hold a specialist title in radiology, recognised in Germany or the EU (we support you with recognition in Switzerland)
- You have knowledge in cross-sectional imaging and an interest in continuously expanding your radiological skills
- You appreciate independent work, gladly take responsibility, and value careful report quality
- You are a collegial, communicative personality and enjoy collaborating with various medical specialties
Your benefits:
- Variety in everyday work: Around 47,000 examinations annually enable you to have a versatile activity with a wide range of diagnostic questions
- Room for your interests: Develop your personal specialisations further and actively shape your professional future
- Targeted support: Your professional development is supported by individual training and continuing education opportunities
- City and nature in close proximity: Zurich is quickly accessible, while Lake Greifen and the Zurich Oberland offer numerous opportunities for sport, leisure, and relaxation
- Suitable workload: Employment between 80 and 100%, with a start date from January 2027 or by arrangement
