The Education Center for Health and Social Affairs (BZGS) located in Glarus and the Commercial-Industrial Vocational School (GIBGL) in Ziegelbrücke will be merged from 2028 in Ziegelbrücke as a "joint school location for BZGS and GIBGL." The local merger of two previously autonomous schools is a challenging change process.
We are looking for a
Change Manager 30–50 %
starting January 1, 2026, or by agreement for a duration of about two years, to actively accompany and support the involved parties in this project.
Tasks
- Participation in solving strategic, organizational, and cultural issues
- Support in clarifying responsibilities and developing job profiles
- Participation in developing a distinctive umbrella brand for the location
- Planning, leading, coordinating, and implementing subprojects (e.g., brand development, school administration organization)
- Bringing an external perspective to better exploit synergies while maintaining high training quality and employee satisfaction
- Participation in developing and implementing a channel-specific communication strategy
- Support in developing a unified quality management system
Requirements
- Solid expertise and proven experience in project management, organizational development, and the merging of organizational units
- Professional and leadership experience, preferably in a vocational school
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Conceptual and analytical skills as well as holistic and networked thinking
- Negotiation and moderation skills as well as high social competence
- Enjoyment in engaging with different personalities and jointly finding solutions
