Production Operator, Paint Preparation

Weighing, mixing, colour control and filling into drums in the paint preparation laboratory of an industrial company in Lavaux. Temporary 3-month assignment at 100%, immediate start.

THE COMPANY

Our client is a Vaud industrial company operating in shifts. It trains its own operators, with an on-site trainer.

YOUR TASKS

• Prepare paint batches according to recipes and manufacturing sheets.
• Weigh and dose components accurately.
• Check the colour and adjust it until compliant.
• Prepare and fill drums intended for production lines.
• Enter manufacturing data: weights, batch numbers.
• Supply the position with the stacker several times a day.

CONDITIONS

• Daytime hours initially, then 2x8 shifts, with planned transition to 3x8: acceptance of 3x8 shifts in the long term is a condition of the position.
• Temporary 3-month assignment at 100%, Aptia mission contract, possible permanent employment afterwards.
• On-site training, night shift premium.
• Free parking, protective equipment provided.

YOUR PROFILE

• Daily operation of a stacker in your current or recent position: essential requirement.
• Recognised forklift operator certificate, or equivalent proven experience.
• At least one year of production experience.
• Experience with paint or mixing: an advantage.
• Precision and rigour.
• Fluent spoken French, comfortable with a computer in production.
• Driving licence and vehicle, residence less than 30 minutes from the site.
