The Office for Spatial Development and Geoinformation (AREG) is the cantonal specialist office for spatial development, official surveying and geoinformation.
The federal agglomeration programmes link settlement and transport and secure federal contributions to agglomeration transport. The canton of St.Gallen is a leading participant in five programmes – three of which are inter-cantonal and two international. A thematic area with scope for design, visible impact and extensive networking.
We are looking for an immediate or agreed start date for a
Project Manager Agglomeration Programmes (m/f/d)
Workload: 80-100%
Workplace: St.Gallen
What to expect
- You are the hub between the agglomerations, the cantonal specialist offices and the Federal Office for Spatial Development
- You coordinate the four agglomeration programmes both professionally and administratively and lead the internal cantonal steering group
- You develop guidelines, manuals, consultations and statements
- You advise the office and department management as well as the sponsors and work in the project teams of the agglomerations
- You work closely with the office management
What distinguishes you
- Completed university degree (FH/Uni) in spatial planning, transport planning or a comparable field
- Several years of professional experience in spatial or transport planning – ideally related to agglomeration programmes, but we also welcome motivated career changers from related fields
- Initial experience in project management
- Enjoyment in collaborating with different partners and a confident, assertive manner
- Structured, independent working style and team spirit
