Your Challenge
- Personnel & professional leadership of the performance centre "BRM & CLM Services"
- Provision of processes and deliverables in connection with the 1st Line of Defence Framework for the LI & BVI region, e.g. controls, support in KYC processing, preparation & handling of KRI findings, management reports to control target achievement, etc. This is done in collaboration with Change-the-Bank units, e.g. Business Management
- Ensuring delivery capability towards stakeholders (e.g. sales units, compliance, risk management), implementation of group-wide risk policies, compliance with deadlines & regional risk/compliance requirements as well as targeted resource deployment within BRM & CLM Services
- Monitoring and reporting of relevant KPIs to stakeholders as well as deriving effective measures to increase efficiency & effectiveness
- Further development of the department regarding processes, collaboration models and delivery model
- Coaching & development (professional & personal) of employees (senior, professional & junior)
- Representation of the area/region towards internal and external stakeholders (e.g. audit, representation in projects at working group/core team meeting level, FMA within the scope of audits)
- Ensuring a proactive risk culture (e.g. through training, leadership tools, etc.)
- Sparring partner for front management, RM, compliance and legal
Your Profile
- Higher education
- (Very) deep understanding of the relevant regulatory landscape, e.g. MiFID, AIA, FATCA, etc.
- Experience in leading projects and transformation initiatives as well as in implementation
- Ability to prepare complex matters understandably and communicate appropriately to the audience
- Experience dealing with FMA audits as well as internal and external audits
- Several years of experience in risk management, compliance or CLM
- Empathy and solution orientation in interactions with front units, in the team, with stakeholders or management
- Strong judgement, decisiveness, leadership experience in a comparable environment
- Strategic and process-oriented thinking as well as the ability to prioritise essential activities
- Ability to achieve impact with stakeholders at different levels based on argumentation
- Ability to coach, mentor and develop a diverse team
