Your Area of Responsibility

• Development and constructive design of mechanical components and systems for the product range in the area of e-trucks and HVB, taking into account technical specifications and applicable standards
• Conducting CAD package studies as well as creating 3D CAD models and 2D manufacturing drawings
• Creation and maintenance of technical documentation, specifications and ERP data, especially design parts lists
• Collaboration in interdisciplinary development projects with the system technology team as well as taking on partial project management tasks
• Support in prototype construction and product introduction into production in cooperation with the test workshop and industrial engineering
• Ensuring the quality and completeness of CAD data and manufacturing documents as well as participation in FMEAs and design verifications
• Coordination of external service providers and suppliers in design and authorisation tasks

Your Advantages

• Completed degree in mechanical engineering or comparable and at least 5 years of professional experience in the automotive or commercial vehicle environment
• Experience in mechanical development as well as good CAD skills in SolidWorks PDM
• Knowledge in materials technology, tolerance management
• Understanding of FMEA as well as confident handling of MS Office
• Good English skills in spoken and written form
• Strong problem-solving skills, sense of responsibility and initiative
• Team-oriented personality with enthusiasm for innovation, cooperative collaboration and sustainable mobility
