About the job
Your new role
As an Administrative Specialist, you can expect a varied and demanding range of tasks. You support guardians as well as clients with administrative and financial duties. You carry out your tasks with a high degree of independence according to the requirements of the mandate and within the framework of the orders of the KESB. In doing so, you work closely and on an equal footing with the guardians. Your duties include managing the finances of clients, especially payment processes, asserting social insurance benefits, managing health care costs, inventories, as well as assisting in the preparation and adjustment of clients' budgets.
This position is exciting for you if
- you have a solid commercial education and can demonstrate several years of professional experience in a comparable position.
- you are confident in social insurance matters and ideally have further training at the caseworker level or a federal specialist certificate in social insurance.
- you are financially savvy and enjoy applying your accounting knowledge.
- you are motivated to learn something new every day and face challenges in your professional life with enthusiasm.
- you appreciate close collaboration with a wide variety of people and professionals.
- you enjoy working independently within a team, are resilient, empathetic and have a good sense of humour.
