The Cantonal Social Welfare Office performs various, steering and operational tasks in social assistance, social insurance, social services, and the asylum sector. Since January 2024, it is responsible for implementing the Self-Determination Act. To complement our teams in the finance area, we are looking for a Specialist in Financing Processes 60 - 70% starting January 1, 2026, or by agreement.

The Position
- You process applications from institutions for investment projects and check their financial viability.
- You review documents from institutions and ensure compliance with requirements, particularly in financial terms.
- You take on tasks in reviewing the annual funding requests of service providers.
- You are part of the support team for external users of specialized applications.
- You support the Contracting & Controlling and Billing teams with further tasks both professionally and administratively.
- You work project-based, team-oriented, and engage in a diverse professional exchange with internal and external parties.
Your Profile
- You have completed a commercial basic education.
- You can demonstrate relevant professional experience and further training in the finance sector.
- You are characterized by an interdisciplinary way of thinking and have a pronounced flair for numbers as well as administrative processes.
- You preferably have expertise in financing investment projects.
- You possess current knowledge in the application of IT systems and their functionalities.
- You appreciate working in a networked manner beyond your field and want to contribute to implementing the Self-Determination Act introduced in 2024 in a stakeholder-oriented manner.
- You are flexible, resilient, and used to proactively tackling challenges and developing solutions.
- Additionally, you have a quick grasp, a pleasant demeanor, and communicate appropriately to the audience.
- You appreciate combining project-oriented work with routine activities.
