Occupational Therapist - 40 to 50%
Within the RSBJ, your tasks will be particularly varied:
- As part of the transverse geriatrics programme and to prevent functional decline, you will work with hospitalised patients; you will also support people hospitalised in medicine or surgery, and intervene at home with the person to prepare their discharge from hospital.
- Within the EMS L’arbre de Vie, you will collaborate with the interdisciplinary team working with the 70 residents.
- By supporting outpatients, you will also be called upon to work with our clients at the Temporary Reception Centre.
- In an interdisciplinary approach, you will organise interventions with the aim of preserving the development, independence and autonomy of individuals.
- You will actively participate in the development of the service’s activities and the institution’s projects by working on integrated care and will intervene throughout the entire health trajectory.
- You regularly collaborate with the team of occupational therapists working at home and participate in sessions bringing together professionals in the discipline for practice exchanges and training at the regional level.
Your profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy from a University of Applied Sciences or an equivalent qualification
- Diploma recognised by the Swiss Red Cross
- Proven experience in a hospital service and in geriatrics is an asset
- Ease in using computer tools
- Organisational skills and ability to manage priorities
- Adaptability and openness to change as well as innovation
- Interest in teamwork and communication skills
