About the job
We are looking for a committed individual as a Debt Collection Specialist / Maintenance Assistance 40 – 70 percent starting 1 January 2027 or by arrangement.
The Regional Maintenance Office of the City of Sursee supports 17 municipalities in the area of maintenance assistance and is also responsible for international maintenance debt collection for the entire canton of Lucerne. Your tasks include
- Review of maintenance advance claims, indexation calculations, etc.
- Independent processing of address verifications
- Case intake and closures
- Advice on various issues in maintenance assistance
- Enforcement of debt collection measures
- Contact and correspondence with entitled and obligated persons, municipalities, courts, authorities, employers, etc.
Ideally, you bring
- Certificate as a maintenance specialist or several years of experience in debt collection
- Good knowledge of relevant legal areas (debt enforcement and bankruptcy law, debt collection, international debt collection, family law)
- Knowledge of the case management system Klib
- Quick comprehension and ability to think in a networked way
- Independent and resilient personality
