Senior Privacy & AI Governance Specialist (temporary position)

We are looking for a motivated and experienced privacy professional to support our team on a temporary basis for approximately 8 - 10 months.
What You Will Do
- act as a trusted advisor to business, IT and corporate functions on data protection topics (GDPR and Swiss DSG)
- support and execute core Data Protection Officer (DPO) activities, including data breach management, data subject requests (DSRs) and regulatory assessments
- conduct and review Privacy Impact Assessments (PIA), Transfer Impact Assessments (TIA) and other risk assessments related to personal data processing
- provide pragmatic compliance guidance in projects, including digital initiatives and AI use cases
- contribute to the development and implementation of AI governance frameworks and responsible AI practices
- support awareness and training activities across the organization
- collaborate closely with an international team of privacy and compliance experts

What You Bring
- several years of hands-on experience in data protection, privacy or compliance (ideally in a complex or regulated environment)
- strong knowledge of GDPR and Swiss data protection regulations
- experience with DPO-related activities and a pragmatic, business-oriented approach
- solid understanding or strong interest in AI governance and emerging regulatory requirements
- ability to work independently with a high level of ownership and accountability
- strong stakeholder management and communication skills across different functions
- fluency in English and German (both required)
