WATCHMAKER MOVEMENT DESIGNER

For our client active in watchmaking in the Val de Travers, we are looking for a

WATCHMAKER MOVEMENT DESIGNER m/f

Your mission

Develop watch movements in order to realise them in documentation and plans to enable their production, respecting the current SQS processes.

Your main responsibilities

• Build and develop mechanical watch calibres and additional modules.
• Perform operational calculations and simulations.
• Prepare plan dossiers, ensure their follow-up and manage modifications.
• Participate in product fine-tuning until production launch.
• Implement technical improvements on our existing calibres.
• Participate in various development phases and collaborate with the relevant departments.
• Write reports and situation summaries.

• Holder of a technician ET/ES or HES engineer training, microtechnology field
• Desired experience in the watchmaking field
• Proficiency in Inventor software
• Knowledge of Tellwatch and PDMlink (is a plus)
• Proficiency in the Office environment
• Knowledge of production, industrialisation and laboratory equipment
• Autonomous, rigorous and methodical person
• Good analytical and synthesis skills
• Team spirit and good communicator

Contract type: Permanent contract (CDI)
