Job Description
We are looking for a Medical Radiology Technician to join our team at the Sorengo, Switzerland site.
The selected person will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging examinations, using and managing radiological equipment, and properly caring for patients, ensuring high standards of quality, safety and professionalism.
Responsibilities
Use and contribute to the proper maintenance of diagnostic imaging equipment, including conventional radiology, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and computed tomography (CT), in compliance with internal protocols and manufacturers’ instructions.
Prepare and position patients accurately and safely to obtain high-quality diagnostic images and minimise radiation exposure.
Strictly apply radioprotection and safety protocols, in compliance with current regulations and standards.
Verify the quality of acquired images and collaborate with radiologists for any further investigations, repeats or additional examinations.
Welcome and prepare patients for examinations, providing clear information about procedures, answering their questions and helping to create a reassuring and professional environment.
Manage and accurately update clinical documentation and examination information through RIS and PACS systems.
Collaborate daily with radiologists, hospital doctors, nursing staff and other healthcare professionals, promoting efficient work organisation and patient-centred care.
Contribute to maintaining high standards of quality, hygiene and safety within the radiology service.

Qualifications
Professional Requirements
- Ability to use, troubleshoot and perform quality checks on diagnostic imaging equipment (X-rays, CT, MRI, Mammography)
- Proficiency with RIS PACS computer systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team
- Strong attention to detail, commitment to ensuring high-quality diagnostic images and patient safety
Mandatory Requirements:
- Valid certification or licence as a radiology technician recognised in Switzerland - Mastery of patient positioning techniques, anatomical knowledge and safety principles
- Knowledge of the Italian language.
