Through intensive collaboration with Swiss and European organisations within the framework of larger research and consulting projects, the Institute for Production and Supply Chain Management maintains a close connection to industry. Research findings from publications and dissertations flow directly into teaching, while students can engage in practical research by participating in the institute's industrial projects.
Your tasks
- Varied and challenging tasks at a practice-oriented institute
- Support of industrial projects in close cooperation with globally active manufacturing companies, e.g. preparation and documentation of workshops, data analysis, conducting interviews, concept development and desk research
- Joint development of production strategies, footprint set-ups, network risk management strategies for leading industrial companies
- Transfer of research content into entrepreneurial practice
- Conducting practice-oriented studies with quantitative and qualitative research
Your profile
- Advanced university studies in business administration, economics, economic sciences, computer science or engineering with very good grades
- Strong interest in production and operations management
- Result-oriented and structured working style with high motivation, initiative, and diligence
- Practical experience in manufacturing companies through internships or part-time jobs is an advantage
- Initial practical experience in operational projects through internships or part-time jobs, e.g. in consulting, is an advantage
- Proficiency in German and English, both spoken and written
- Confident use of MS Office programmes (especially PowerPoint and Excel)
