Your main tasks
- Coordination, organisation and planning of outpatient treatment of patients in the Department of Visceral and Transplant Surgery. This includes accompanying consultations, initiating prescriptions as well as organising referrals to rehabilitation clinics and external hospitals
- Primary contact person within the clinic and area of responsibility (team) for patients, relatives, internal and external referrers as well as internal and external service providers (radiology institutes, laboratory institutes etc.)
- Planning, coordination and registration of examinations by internal and external USZ services (radiology, laboratory etc.)
- Obtaining relevant information from general practitioners, hospitals etc.
- Planning of surgical procedures or inpatient stays in cooperation with the inpatient disposition
- Support in cost assurance including self-payers and international patients
Your profile
- Training as a nursing specialist HF/FH with professional experience - ideally in the field of visceral surgery
- Knowledge of the Swiss health and billing system
- Further training in case management or similar is an advantage
- Good oral and written German and English skills, additional foreign languages are an advantage
- Organisational skills
- Ability to approach complex situations in a solution-oriented manner
- Proficient in MS Office applications
