For our client, an emergency accommodation facility based in Geneva, we are looking for a

As part of your duties, you will be responsible for:

• Welcoming, supporting and guiding the women housed in the facility;
• Providing personalised social follow-up through individual interviews;
• Actively collaborating with the socio-health network and participating in inter-institutional exchanges;
• Participating in the management of admissions, welcoming and departures of beneficiaries;
• Ensuring respect for the institutional framework, the people welcomed and the neighbourhood;
• Responding to internal and external requests, and ensuring continuity of service in case of emergency or absence;
• Actively participating in conferences, training, integration of new colleagues and the facilitation of group activities;
• Contributing to the circulation of useful information to the team and the proper maintenance of communication and monitoring tools;
• Collaborating transversally with all staff of the facility.

To succeed fully in this position, you distinguish yourself by the following qualities and skills:

• Holder of a Bachelor’s degree in social work or equivalent training;
• Proven experience in the field of precariousness and/or in a high-tolerance facility;
• Fluency in French (spoken and written), other languages are an asset;
• Ability to work in a team and adapt your communication to different interlocutors;
• Stress resistance, versatility and great adaptability;
• Availability to work irregular hours and to face complex situations;
• Sense of welcome, initiative, active listening and empathy;
