What is my role?

• Analysis of the procurement market and development of category strategies

• Management of supplier relations, responsibility for contracts and conducting price and performance negotiations

• Optimisation of material requirements and disposition processes

• Further development of purchasing processes

• Driving digital solutions and KPI-based controlling

What do I need to be successful?

• Commercial or technical basic training as well as completed further education in purchasing, supply chain management or business administration

• Several years of experience in strategic and operational purchasing in an industrial or project-related environment

• Ideally experience in the professional and disciplinary leadership of a small team

• Confident negotiation skills, persuasive assertiveness and cost-conscious behaviour

• Analytical thinking for the further development of processes and systems

• Experienced handling of ERP systems and digital purchasing solutions
