JOB PURPOSE:
Supervise the floor teams. Maintain the floor in very good technical and cleanliness condition. Continuously train teams on quality criteria. Perfect knowledge of the tasks to be performed by the floor teams. Occasional replacement of the Assistant General Housekeeper may be required.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Manage and provide guests with a pleasant, efficient and professional service in accordance with Four Seasons Standards. Be responsible for preparing rooms for VIP guests.
1. Must always behave professionally and adhere to the Company and Hotel quality criteria as well as the Hotel’s internal regulations.
2. Must always have impeccable presentation and be punctual.
3. Must notify their department in time in case of problems. Must take and understand their work report, know the list of VIPs and other guests and inform their staff.
4. Must inform their staff to address guests using the guest’s name.
5. Must respect hygiene and safety rules as well as quality criteria and procedures within their department.
6. Train new Chambermaids according to established quality criteria.
7. Must know how to lead the Chambermaid team on the floors and conduct daily inspections.
8. Know how to make recommendations, resolve certain conflicts, coach and take disciplinary actions when necessary.
9. Responsible for the smooth running of work and team spirit on the floors.
10. Ensure optimum service for the guest.
11. Ensure the performance of Floor Staff by checking that there are enough supplies and linen in the offices.
12. Ensure that corridors, stairs, offices, floor storages, room doors, and elevators are maintained according to quality criteria.
13. Control rooms (departures, turndowns, vacant, SA and VIP) and ensure all quality criteria are met.
14. Verify that maintenance and technical problems are resolved to make rooms available.
15. Responsible for the quality of work of the floor staff.
16. Ensure good coordination of tasks and directives to be carried out.
17. Must ensure follow-up of special guest requests (extra pillows, request for an ironing board, etc.)
18. Must perform spot checks when the Chambermaid is working and ensure she works according to procedures established by the Department.
19. Control and follow up on occasional deep cleaning of rooms.
20. Ensure proper maintenance and cleaning of furniture.
21. Attend service meetings.
22. Control proper maintenance and order of storages on the floors.
23. Be able to respond quickly and intelligently to emergency situations in the hotel.
24. Ensure proper application of instructions and any changes by management.
25. Ensure all Chambermaids return their passes and sign out at the end of their shift.
26. Inform the General Housekeeper of unusual events and communicate special instructions to the Night Housekeeper.
27. May have special projects and other responsibilities.
28. Apply and master quality standards related to your function.

REQUIREMENTS:
1) French and English languages read, spoken, written.
2) Perfect knowledge of the various tasks of Chambermaid, Floor Staff and Public Area Staff.
3) Good knowledge of computer tools.
