Department of Economy, Social Affairs and Environment, LIV Living in Diversity

Your Tasks
Accompanying people individually: You accompany five people with intellectual disabilities and challenging behaviour. In doing so, you create a participation-oriented and health-promoting environment that provides security, orientation and individual development.
Providing structure and security: You create a clearly structured and stabilising daily routine and take on care tasks in a 1:1 setting if required. You promote the self-determination of the clients and design daily and leisure activities tailored to their needs. Additionally, you take on tasks in the areas of household, organisation and documentation.
Strengthening professionalism and collaboration: You work in an interdisciplinary team, contribute your observations and ideas, and jointly reflect on challenging care situations. You participate in professional consultations and actively contribute to the further development of care quality as well as change processes.
Your Profile
Experience and expertise: You bring experience in supporting people with intellectual disabilities and challenging behaviour. Knowledge in the area of autism spectrum disorders is an advantage. You are willing to engage with complex care situations and continuously develop your professional knowledge.
Personality and attitude: You remain calm even in demanding situations, act thoughtfully and convey security. You know your limits, seek support when needed and openly engage in professional exchange. Empathy, respect, humour and a reflective attitude are natural to you.
Education: You have completed training as a Care Specialist EFZ or hold an equivalent qualification.
Communication and flexibility: You have a good command of the German language and communicate appropriately for the target group. Shift, weekend and public holiday duties are compatible with your personal life situation.
