About the job
According to the Vocational Training Act and Vocational Training Ordinance, young people who have fulfilled their compulsory schooling but, due to their health condition, development, or other circumstances, are not yet able to meet the requirements of a regular basic vocational training, can receive a legally recognised training through an apprenticeship.
The apprenticeship aims to impart the necessary skills and knowledge to young people who are primarily practically gifted to master simpler work processes.
The workshops department of the hpz carries out the following initial vocational measures on behalf of the Disability Insurance:
– Pre-apprenticeship
– Vocational preparation year
– hpz internal apprenticeships: private law, with hpz certificate
– Apprenticeships: legally recognised in Liechtenstein, with apprenticeship certificate from the Office for Vocational Training and Career Counselling (ABB)
– Two-year basic vocational training with a federal vocational certificate (EBA) only in the kitchen
Target group
Motivated, performance- and learning-willing young people and young adults who require targeted professional as well as educational guidance for career orientation or learning a profession.

– Registration by the IV office or other clients
– Clarified financing (cost approval)

Depending on the assignment, 1 to 2 years

All state-recognised apprenticeships are also offered by us with reduced requirements as hpz internal apprenticeships.
