About the job

The Drainage Department of the Civil Engineering Office ensures the smooth operation of the public drainage network, which extends over 330 km and includes more than 70 special structures such as stormwater basins, stormwater overflows, and pumping stations. It also manages the drainage of 500 municipal properties.

Your Tasks

Hydrodynamic and electromechanical cleaning
Emptying and cleaning of sludge collectors, pump sumps, and pits
Cleaning of pedestrian and cycle underpasses
Maintenance and repair of special and specialised structures
On-call duty

Your Profile

Completed vocational training, ideally as a drainage technologist
Several years of professional experience in wastewater technology
Driving licence category B (category C advantageous)
Good physical condition
Resident in Winterthur or nearby due to on-call duty
