Our client, renowned for its expertise in civil engineering, infrastructure and spatial planning, has been supporting ambitious and sustainable projects in Switzerland and internationally for several decades. To strengthen its dynamic and committed team, we are looking for a:

SENIOR CIVIL ENGINEERING PROJECT MANAGER – STRUCTURAL FOCUS (m/f/d)

Lausanne or Fribourg | 80 to 100 %

Bring sustainable and ambitious structures to life

Join a multidisciplinary team recognised for its expertise and commitment to design and deliver major structural projects at a regional level. You will work on reinforced concrete, steel, timber and masonry structures, bringing your technical know-how and your overall vision of projects.

Your responsibilities

As a technical expert and conductor of the projects entrusted to you, you play a central role in their success, from studies to realisation.

Your main tasks will be as follows:

Actively participate in project development by ensuring direct operational involvement in studies;
Carry out or supervise sizing, structural calculations, technical analyses and the writing of specialised reports;
Manage assignments ensuring compliance with cost, quality and deadline objectives;
Supervise, support and provide technical guidance to engineers and draftsmen in the project team;
Ensure the technical validation of studies, calculations, execution plans and proposed solutions;
Contribute to the commercial development of the activity by participating in the acquisition of new mandates;
Support the team leader in monitoring existing clients and strengthening trust-based relationships with new partners;
Integrate sustainable development principles into technical considerations to promote responsible and lasting solutions.

Your profile

You hold an ETH, University of Applied Sciences degree in civil engineering or an equivalent qualification;
You have at least 10 years of professional experience as a senior engineer in the field of structures;
You have solid experience in execution phases and tender procedures;
You can demonstrate significant references on large-scale projects, ideally acquired in a project manager role;
Passionate about technology, you enjoy both engineering thinking and the practical implementation of developed solutions;
You have excellent command of French, both spoken and written;
You are comfortable in interpersonal relations and know how to create a positive dynamic with your interlocutors;
Autonomous and rigorous, you show initiative, excellent organisational skills and appreciate collaborative work.
