At VAROPreem in Birsfelden we are looking for an operations employee for our team.
You have a technical background, enjoy pitching in and want to take the next step in your professional development?
For our tank storage in Rothenburg we are looking for a reliable and responsible personality with development potential. You will be comprehensively trained in our tank storage operations for around 12 months and will then take on the role of deputy warehouse manager in our five-person team.
Your tasks
Participation in daily tank storage operations and handling of our products
Loading and unloading as well as monitoring of product movements
Tank measurements and quality controls
Operation of the TTA software for control, monitoring and automation of tank storage processes
Safety checks and maintenance work
Gradual assumption of organisational and coordinative tasks
After successful training of 12 months: Deputising for the warehouse manager
You bring with you
Technical or manual training, e.g. as an electrician, mechanic, automation technician, polymechanic, plant operator, chemical technician or comparable
Professional experience in a technical or industrial environment is an advantage
High safety and sense of responsibility
Independent, reliable and solution-oriented working style
Enjoyment of teamwork and taking on responsibility
Very good German skills, English is an advantage
Willingness to work shifts Monday to Friday, 05:00 – 13:30 or 08:00 – 16:30
Leadership experience is an advantage but not a must. What matters to us is your motivation and potential to develop into the role of deputy warehouse manager.
