Certified Nursing Specialist (a) – Outpatient Geriatric Psychiatry (Outreach) 60%
Tasks
- Resource- and person-centred care and support of experienced older adults with mental illnesses
- Stabilisation and maintenance of independence and quality of life in the home setting
- Crisis intervention and support in challenging situations
- Independent case management and treatment planning
- Collaboration with the interdisciplinary team of the Geriatric Psychiatry Clinic
- Consultation and networking with relatives, authorities, and referrers
Profile
- Qualification as a certified nursing specialist HF/FH
- Experience in geriatric psychiatry/home care is an advantage
- Enjoyment and interest in working with older people and their individual life situations
- Empathy, patience, and a respectful attitude towards experienced older adults
- Confident demeanour even with cognitive changes and/or impairments
- Independent, responsible working style
- Driving licence category B
