As Banquet Service Manager / Event Operations Manager, you are the central contact person for our guests and ensure with your hosting personality, sensitivity, and enthusiasm that every event becomes a special experience.
Your mission:
- Operational management and execution of concerts, festivals, meetings, conferences, and large events with up to 1,300 guests
- Responsibility for the smooth running of all banquet events
- First point of contact for our event and function guests on site
- Leadership, motivation, and development of the event team as well as the temporary staff pool
- Planning and coordination of personnel and operational resources
- Ensuring high guest satisfaction including professional complaint management
- Active participation in daily operations – from setup to follow-up
- Responsibility for optimal staff scheduling
- Close collaboration with kitchen, technical team, event management, and other departments
- Participation in function sheet meetings and F&B meetings
- Support of the F&B Manager during their absence
- Involvement in sales promotions and creative event concepts
- Responsibility for order, care, and maintenance of inventory and furniture
- Various administrative tasks
What scores with you:
- Completed training in hospitality or gastronomy; further education at a hotel management school or comparable qualification is an advantage
- Several years of professional and leadership experience in banquet, event, or function management
- Experience in staff leadership as well as in deployment and duty planning (ideally with Mirus 4.0)
- You see yourself as a motivating leader and lead by example
- High social competence as well as a confident and warm manner towards guests, employees, and superiors
- Organised, resilient, and solution-oriented personality
- You remain calm and composed even in hectic situations
- Independent, responsible, and structured way of working
- Very good communication skills in German; French and English are an advantage
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
