Metalworker – Specialist in Pre-Assembly

Activities

Independent assembly of system components according to technical specifications (e.g. conveyor troughs, pre-screens, screening machines or roller grates)
Carrying out welding work as well as cutting and grinding of steel components
Rubberising of screen decks and cutting of seals
Operation of overhead cranes and proper slinging of loads
Support in loading systems and components
Checking stock levels and reporting material requirements to the team leader

Requirements

Completed technical basic training in mechanical engineering, metal construction, production or locksmithing
Experience in mechanical assembly work is an advantage
Knowledge of welding
German language skills at a business fluent level
Experience in handling overhead cranes, forklifts or lifting platforms is an advantage
Independent, reliable and careful working style
