Project Manager Mechanical Engineering (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF125,000 - 135,000Role:
On behalf of our client, we are looking for an experienced professional to lead technically demanding mechanical engineering projects in an internationally oriented industrial environment. You will take on the technical and organisational management of projects and coordinate internal departments, suppliers and customers. You will be responsible for deadlines, costs, quality and technical project objectives throughout the entire project lifecycle. The position combines mechanical engineering, project management and international customer projects.
Responsibilities:
Management and control of mechanical engineering projects from the concept phase to handover
Responsibility for costs, deadlines, quality and project progress
Coordination of design, engineering, production, purchasing and other departments
Technical coordination with customers, suppliers and external partners
Creation and monitoring of project plans, milestones, budgets and resources
Support of design, manufacturing, assembly and commissioning
Review and coordination of technical specifications, drawings and project documentation
Conducting project status reviews and preparing management reports
Identification and management of project risks, deviations and technical changes
Support with customer acceptance, commissioning and handovers
Support of international projects and occasional customer assignments
Continuous optimisation of project management processes and technical procedures
Qualifications:
Completed FH/ETH degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics or comparable technical qualification
Several years of experience in project management in mechanical or plant engineering
Sound knowledge of machine design, manufacturing processes and technical project management
Experience in managing international customer projects
Good knowledge of CAD, ERP systems and MS Office
Experience with cost, schedule and resource planning
Very good German and English skills
