Buffet Staff

Become part of our Hiltl buffet, the heart of one of our restaurants in the center of Zurich! We are looking for a committed person who puts our guests at the center and tackles tasks with passion. If you are a vegi-lover and can identify with the oldest vegetarian restaurant in the world, we look forward to your application!

Your tasks

• You set up, rearrange, and clear our Hiltl buffet – ensuring everything is fresh, beautifully presented, and ready to go
• Your daily mise-en-place is spot on – organized, clean, and efficient
• You actively delight our guests – with friendliness, product knowledge, and genuine joy in contact

Your backpack (or suitcase, depending on your travel luggage)

• Training as a cook EBA or system catering specialist EFZ or several years of experience in the kitchen
• Good German skills (at least B1) – English is a plus but not a must
• Interest in vegetarian & vegan cuisine – curious, open, and eager to try
• Willingness to work early and late shifts – without fixed hours
• Hygiene awareness, quality standards, and initiative – you work cleanly, carefully, and structured
