Our long-standing client in Central Switzerland, based in the Zug region and the city of Zurich, is looking to strengthen the well-established team in Zurich. You will implement infrastructure IT projects in various forms and keep the technology running. In this position, you are a significant partner of renowned companies - for this role, we are looking for you as a potential project manager.
- Analysis of customer requirements as well as conception and design of modern virtualisation and workplace solutions.
- Coordination of interdisciplinary project teams as well as management of external service providers and technology partners.
- Responsibility for project planning, resource management, budget, deadlines, and quality assurance.
- Advising stakeholders on technical and organisational issues related to virtualisation, migration, and modernisation of IT infrastructure.
- Ensuring a smooth handover of implemented solutions into operation as well as conducting project reviews and continuous optimisations.
- University of Applied Sciences, Technical College, or other further education with a focus on project management / IT systems engineering
- Experience in managing IT infrastructure projects, ideally in the area of virtualisation and digital workplace.
- Sound knowledge of VMware technologies (vSphere, vCenter, vSAN) and Citrix (Virtual Apps & Desktops, DaaS).
- Strong project management skills and experience with common methods such as traditional and agile project management.
- Additional know-how in LAN, WAN, and security is an advantage
- Ideally, you are MCSE, VCP, CCA/CCEE certified
- Cooperative, proactive, and team-oriented personality
- Project-related, entrepreneurial thinking and acting
- Good communication skills and sound know-how enable you to present yourself competently
- Close collaboration with renowned customers from various industries and demanding IT landscapes.

Tasks

- You have a technical basic education with a focus on computer science- University of Applied Sciences, Technical College, or other further education with a focus on project management / IT systems engineering
